We spotted an oriole at Texas Birdhouse, so naturally we put out an orange hoping to attract it back! 🍊 The regular birds weren’t impressed… but the ants definitely approved. 😂🐜

The smoke is so thick around our neighborhood today. 💔🐦 Praying for everyone affected by the wildfire and all the wildlife caught in it.

And I’m wondering…should I bring my tortoise inside for the day? I hate disrupting his routine, but the smoke is REALLY thick. What would you do?

A little painted bunting stopping by the breakfast bar. 💚🐦 Even the muffin pan gets birdhouse duty around here!

The smoke from the Ross Fire has made its way all the way to us. 💔 You can see the haze in my videos and even smell the smoke outside.

Praying for everyone affected, and especially for the firefighters working so hard to get this fire under control. 🙏🏼🔥🕊️

Please stay safe, Texas. ❤️
