Stop Replacing Garbage Every Spring
​Just delivered this batch of three freestanding, solid steel hose hangers to a repeat client who was tired of replacing shattered plastic hose reels every year. At $300 a piece, they aren't cheap—but they are the last hose hangers this client will ever have to buy.
​These were built right here at Deep Creek Ironworks entirely by hand. No automated CNC machines, no thin-wall aluminum, and no shortcuts. Just heavy steel, hand-worked organic supports, and a custom mountain and timber silhouette. The saddles are rolled wide to prevent your expensive industrial hoses from kinking, and the entire structure is fully welded to take a beating.
​To make sure these sit dead solid, I engineered the bases with adjustable feet. Whether it is going on a sloped concrete patio or an uneven wooden deck, you can dial it in so it sits perfectly level and locked to the hard surface.

Why Architectural Steel Railing Outperforms Wood and Cable

When selecting a railing for a custom home, the railing is more than a safety feature—it is a significant architectural element. Architectural steel offers a combination of strength, longevity, and design flexibility that wood and cable systems simply cannot match.

Built to last. Steel provides exceptional structural strength and can withstand years of heavy use, temperature changes, and exposure to the elements without the warping, cracking, or deterioration commonly associated with wood. With the proper finish, architectural steel can remain beautiful for decades.

A truly custom aesthetic. Unlike standardized cable systems or conventional wood railings, steel can be fabricated into virtually any shape. Organic branch forms, forged details, sweeping curves, geometric patterns, and sculptural elements can be incorporated directly into the railing, allowing it to become part of the home's architecture rather than simply an addition to it.
