Hardscape With Jack

Hardscape With Jack Territory Sales Manager
Maryland/Delaware I'm Jack. I know what it takes to run crews, manage customers, price jobs, and deliver quality work day after day.

Welcome to Hardscape With Jack — the go-to page for hardscape contractors who want to grow their business, install better products, and make more money doing what they love. I spent nearly 28 years successfully running my own hardscape company — building patios, walls, outdoor living spaces, and everything in between. For roughly 15 years I also owned and operated a garden center where I sold hardscape supplies directly to contractors and homeowners. I understand the business from every angle — as the installer, the supplier, and now as a Territory Manager for Nicolock Pavers covering Delaware and Maryland. I built this page because I wish someone had shared this kind of real world knowledge with me when I was coming up in the industry. No fluff. No theory. Just practical advice from someone who has actually lived it. What you'll find here:

🔨 Business tips to increase your average job ticket
🔨 Product education and color guides
🔨 Contractor spotlights featuring real work
🔨 Behind the scenes field content
🔨 Installation tips from someone who has done the work

Whether you're a seasoned contractor running multiple crews or just getting started — this page is built for you by someone who has been exactly where you are. New content every week — follow along so you n
ever miss a post.

The new Nicolock lighting just hit the shelves at Parker Block 💡🔨
Here is a pro tip — lighting should be planned during the hardscape design phase not added as an afterthought. Running your conduit and sleeves during installation saves a massive headache later.
