We’ll be at the Fulshear Farmers' Market this Saturday, 9–1, with the tables loaded up. A few highlights:

🧀 Truffle Pecorino is making its last appearance for a while, so grab one while you can!

🧅 Caramelised Onion & Derby Cheddar: lightly caramelised onions cooked in Kerrygold butter, folded together with lush Derby cheddar from England. Derby is a traditional cheese from Derbyshire, mellow and buttery, and it’s perfect with those sweet, golden onions.

Our Organic NINE GRAIN😍…. it’s my favourite and has quickly become a customer favourite too, and it will be at the Fulshear Farmers' Market this Saturday!

Why do I love it…?!

✅ Long slow fermentation for flavour and nutrition and ease of digestion ♥️

✅ NINE GRAINS😍 hard to red wheat, oat groats, triticale berries, dehulled barley, soft white wheat, spelt berries, hard white wheat, flax , rye berries

✅ not only are these grains made into a porridge and layered in the dough it’s also rolled in the grains before baking. For an incredible gnarly crust!

✅ we use our house blend of grains and mill the grains in house using our Mockmill before building our dough for our 9 grain sourdough

✅ has the most incredible textured crumb ( inside of the loaf)

✅an incredible crust (my favourite had to be said again it’s that yummy)

This girl right here... 🎂🎉

TWENTY-ONE! 🥳 I honestly can’t believe it. Somehow the longest quickest ride just got even quicker... from that tiny bundle in the pink gingham blanket to the remarkable young woman you are today.

And some things never change... you still find every puddle to jump in! 💦 Water has always drawn you in, no matter where we go or what time of year it is. Off come the shoes and in you go 🌊😂

The adventures you’ve been on have been amazing, but I have a feeling the best ones are still to come 🌈

Sophia, you are kind, clever, funny and fiercely capable. Your tenacity and wit make us prouder than words can say, and your smile still lights up every room ☀️

A little shout-out to my baking crew 💛

Mrs K and Ms G show up for every one of my baking shenanigans, wild ideas and big dreams, and then some. They muck in with a giggle, a healthy dose of serious sass and even bigger hearts.

These past months, they’ve quite literally stood behind me and held me up while I continue to hobble my way back to full baking power. Flour on the aprons, laughter in the kitchen, and not once a complaint (well… maybe a cheeky eye-roll or two 😉).

I’m so very lucky to have them. Simply adore these two.

Thank you, ladies, the bread may rise, but you two lift me higher. 🍞✨

Hey, did you know this about Texas Cottage Food Law?!

Do I have to disclose possible allergen cross-contamination on my cottage food label?

No! Texas cottage food law labeling rules require you to disclose any of the nine major food allergens that are actually present in your product. Not what might be present. Not what you also use in your kitchen. What is actually in the food you're selling.

But what if you WANT to include a statement about possible cross-contact?

That's perfectly fine, too!

There's no rule against providing additional information on your label. As long as you've properly disclosed the allergens actually present in your product, you're welcome to add a statement such as:

"Made in a kitchen that also uses wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts."

The important distinction is between required allergen disclosures and voluntary precautionary statements. They're not the same thing, and one doesn't replace the other.

So, do you HAVE to include a "may contain" statement? No.

CAN you include one if you want to? Absolutely.

Just make sure your required allergen disclosures are accurate and complete.

🎃 She’s back! 🎃

After a long rest, our Savoury Pumpkin Sourdough has returned. It’s only here for the fall, and once it’s gone, it’s gone until next year.

Most pumpkin bakes go sweet. We went our own way and made a savoury masterpiece instead. And yes, it’s even shaped like a pumpkin. 🧡

What’s inside:

Bread flour, fresh-milled grains (our Mrs. R blend), water, organic pumpkin, salt, fresh cracked pepper, sage, sautéed shallots and extra virgin olive oil.

🌱 Vegan

🌾 Contains wheat

Perfect alongside a bowl of soup, toasted with a drizzle of good olive oil, or as the star of your fall table.
