October bedroom checklist:

✅ Swap to the heavy duvet
✅ Add approximately 47 throw pillows
✅ Put a pumpkin somewhere near the bed for reasons
✅ Pretend you'll actually use that decorative blanket ladder
✅ Call it done and refuse to leave this room until April

The floors, however, were already perfect. Some things don't need a seasonal update. 😂

What's the first thing you swap out in your bedroom when fall hits? 🎃

One of the best things you can do for your hardwood floors heading into fall and winter? Control the humidity in your home. 🌡️

Here's why it matters:

🪵 Wood is a natural material that expands and contracts with moisture levels. Low winter humidity, especially once the heat kicks on, can cause planks to shrink and gaps to form between them.

💧 The ideal indoor humidity level for hardwood floors is between 35 and 55 percent.

🌬️ Running a humidifier in the colder months can make a real difference in how your floors look and perform over time.

🧹 Avoid wet mopping hardwood in any season. A slightly damp mop or a hardwood-specific cleaner is all you need.

A little seasonal care goes a long way with hardwood. 💡

We choose a carpet and set the delivery date. Georgia Floors Direct recommended an installation firm that we hired. The installation went well and we are very happy with the entire process coordinated by Georgia Floors Direct. We highly recommended.." says Diane on Google

"Great experience with these guys! I had to manage this job from a distance (I live in Jacksonville, flooring work was in Savannah), and I never once felt nervous about the product or service I was getting. I told them exactly what I was trying to do (inexpensive flooring for a small business space that I’m renting) and they didn’t blink, were still very helpful despite the fact that I was clearly being basically cheap..." says Mandy on Google
