Tricky ladder setup to finish an exterior repaint on a brick home. 🪜

This side of the house took some planning. We got the neighbors' permission to set our ladder in their yard, and any time a ladder rests on a gutter we wrap it in cloth, so there's never metal on metal. Before we spray the trim, we cover the neighbors' fence and golf cart in plastic so no overspray ends up anywhere it shouldn't.

Wrapping up a full exterior trim-out on a four-sided brick home. 🖌️

We're painting the soffit, fascia, and door and window trim with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint Satin exterior, about 90% brushed and rolled by hand. One section on the far side still gets sprayed, but it was breezy this morning, so we're holding off until the wind dies down.

Rotten wood repair on a full exterior repaint in Buford, GA. 🔨

Where trim meets the shingles is where you usually see a lot of problems. We are taking the rotten wood off and replacing it with PVC 1x6, so the repair is permanent. Then it is on to the full exterior repaint.

The body of the house, soffit, fascia and gutters are done. Today the crew is finishing the shutters and wrapping up. Product: Sherwin-Williams Duration Exterior, satin finish. It's been a great project, and we're thankful for it.

New project kicking off: a full exterior repaint in Cu***ng, GA. 🏡

Before any paint went on, we replaced quite a bit of siding and a good number of pieces of rotten wood, pressure washed, scraped the loose paint and caulked all the way around. Now the paint job starts, using Sherwin-Williams Duration.

This time of year the heavy morning dew means we wait until about 10 or 11 a.m. to start painting. Beautiful day, beautiful project.
