Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away… 🦃🍂

Is your table ready for everyone who’s coming?

At Mertz Wood Studio, we build custom dining tables made to fit YOUR space—whether you need something extra long for the whole family, a table for a cozy lake house, or a custom size you just can’t find in a store.

Built by hand. Built to last. Built for all the meals, stories and memories that happen around the table. ❤️

We have limited availability before the holidays, so if a new table has been on your wish list, now is the time to reach out!

Jeff just wrapped up this pair of mid-century modern nightstands, made from solid alder. We love the simple lines, fluted drawer fronts and push-to-open drawers — no pulls needed!

They turned out so warm and cozy in this space.

Have a spot where you just can’t find the right size or style? That’s where custom comes in. 😊

We recently built this custom oak mantel for some very special clients overlooking Lake Michigan. Custom built to fit the space and finished with Rubio Monocoat for a beautiful, natural look that lets the character of the wood shine through.

Need a mantel in a size, style or finish you just can't find in a store? Custom is our thing!

🦵Leg day at Mertz Wood Studio! Jeff’s been hitting the lathe 8 legs at a time 🤣. These custom turned legs are heading for a new set of nightstands. Stay tuned for the finished product.

Gather Around a Custom Table for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has a way of reminding us how important the table really is. It's where meals are shared, games are played, stories are told and memories are made.

At Mertz Wood Studio, custom is our thing. We can design a table around your space, your style and the number of people you want to gather-whether that means a large dining table, an expandable design, a game table or something completely unique.

If you've been wishing for a table that truly fits your home or vacation rental, now is the time to start planning.

We recently built these two custom storage pieces for the massage therapy room at Better Bodies Pilates in Overland Park, Kansas!

Featuring warm wood tones, fluted doors, brass hardware, built-in lighting, and practical storage, each piece was designed specifically for their space.

Have an idea? Mertz Wood Studio would love to bring it to life! We’re located right here in the Table Rock Lake area.
