It’s a cold one out there today! The fireplace is going, and all I want to do is cozy up by the fire with a warm blanket and a cup of coffee. ☕🔥

What better way to add some charm and character to your fireplace than with a Maine made mantel? This one is especially cool!

🌲 Where’s the wood from?
This mantel was crafted from an old barn in Maine, reclaimed from the original beams shown in the picture below.

🪵 What makes it special?
This is a hand hewn mantel, crafted the old fashioned way back when the barn was first built. It’s full of history, character, and that timeless rustic charm you just can’t replicate!

Stop by and take this mantel home, or let us help you find a similar mantel to bring some warmth and character to your home this winter season!

Nothing beats the charm of a little Maine history in your home. ❤️

This beauty is about to become a one-of-a-kind coffee table, and I can’t wait to bring it to life!

Stay tuned to see what we create with this incredible piece of Maine history! ❤️

We’re rebuilding, redesigning, and getting back to our roots! ❤️

Many of you have been asking what our plans are once we close our Gardiner location, so we thought we’d start sharing a little more of what’s happening behind the scenes!

As many of you know, we lost our original Mount Vernon woodshop to a devastating fire in 2019. Since then, we’ve been working toward getting our operations back home, and we’re finally making it happen!

Our current Mount Vernon workshop was originally a kennel, so let’s just say it wasn’t exactly designed for woodworking! 😂 Not a whole lot of windows, and the layout definitely needs some love.

But here’s the exciting part. We now have the opportunity to completely redesign the space and turn it into the woodshop we’ve been dreaming about!

Between now and the end of January, we have A LOT of work ahead of us. We’re keeping our Gardiner store open through Christmas while simultaneously cleaning out, moving equipment, reorganizing, and getting our new workshop ready.

It’s going to be a crazy few months, but we’re excited for this next chapter!

We’ve had so many people ask us to share the progress, so we’re going to do our best to bring you along for the ride. From the messy demolition and cleanup to sketches, plans, and eventually the finished workshop, you’ll get to see it all!

We’re not closing our business. We’re bringing it home. ❤️

Thank you all for continuing to support our little Maine business. We couldn’t do this without you!

Stay tuned. There’s a whole lot of work to be done! 🔨

❤️ THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! ❤️

We want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by this weekend and supported our moving sale! We are so grateful for all the love and support as we get ready for our next chapter! ❤️

Just a friendly reminder that we are CLOSED on Sundays!

But don’t worry, the deals aren’t over! We’re still busy pulling lots of great stuff out of our woodshop and moving it into our DIY Center for sale!

We’ll be back open next Friday & Saturday from 10 AM–4 PM, with even MORE DIY bundles, barn wood, and amazing deals!

If you haven’t stopped by yet, be sure to come see us next weekend. You never know what treasures we’ll be bringing out of the woodshop!

Thank you again for supporting our small Maine business. We couldn’t do this without you! ❤️

A little sneak peek into the sanding process! 🪵

Taking old Maine barn wood and giving it new life, one board at a time.

Every piece of reclaimed wood has a story, and we love preserving its history and character while creating something beautiful that will last for generations.

A little time, a lot of sanding, and a whole lot of love for what we do. ❤️
