Coming to life in Celina!

The Edgewood Creek Amenity Center is officially taking shape. Designed for First Texas Homes, this community space will include a swimming pool, sports fields, playground, and restroom facilities for residents to enjoy.

Another McCarthy project completed that we are excited to share!

The Birdsong Amenity Center in Mansfield was designed for First Texas Homes as a place for residents to swim, gather and enjoy their community.

The project includes a large swimming pool, covered lounging areas, outdoor grills, restrooms and showers. One of our favorite details is the floating roof design, which creates shade while giving the amenity center its own architectural identity.

How can architecture better support visual communication?

McCarthy Architecture partnered with Pioneer Bible Translators to design its Global Sending and Sign Language Center in Dallas, Texas. The facility incorporates visual, tactile, and spatial considerations to support the people using the building while advancing Pioneer’s work in sign language translation and global ministry.

We recently returned to the completed facility to document the project and see how the space is being used today.

Introducing the Fort Davis Residence, a new multi generational family compound currently in design at McCarthy Architecture.

Located in the rugged landscape of West Texas, the project draws inspiration from the historic 1850s military officer quarters that define the architectural character of Fort Davis. Rustic brick, deep covered porches, and regionally inspired detailing create a home that feels grounded in its environment while supporting modern family living.

This project is a reflection of how architecture can honor history while still designing for the future.

Honored to attend this morning the 2026 Celebration of Hope for Hope Clinic of Garland as guests of Springcreek Church. This year marks 25 years of care, impact, and service to the Garland community, with Hope Clinic recently being recognized as the Garland Chamber’s 2025 “Nonprofit of the Year.”

McCarthy Architecture is grateful to serve as the architect for the future Hope Clinic space within Springcreek Church and to play a small role in supporting an organization that continues to make such a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.
