There were four valve boxes in this yard. One was visible and three were buried under mulch, and one of the buried ones was leaking. Go look for yours, green or black lid, usually near the edge of the lawn. More at callbetterearth.com

No water had run on this property in years. The double check backflow preventer had failed, so we cut it out, set a new one, replaced the valves that had failed and hung a new controller. More at callbetterearth.com

A catch can test measures what a sprinkler system actually puts down instead of guessing. Every pink flag is a head and every cup catches water, and the spread between the cups is what tells you whether the zone is watering evenly. More at callbetterearth.com

This head could not drop flush with the lawn because the pipe underneath sat too high, and a head riding high is one mower pass from getting sheared off. Funny pipe flexes so you can set the head right at grade. More at callbetterearth.com

The bulge on this pipe is excess glue from when it was put together. The glue pooled inside, sat in the bottom of the pipe and cracked it. Use enough solvent cement to make the joint and no more. More at callbetterearth.com
