Cool little project, Mrs. Grandma was using a little plastic stool to get up her 22 inch high retainer wall. Given the limited space we were gifted, we had to improvise on the size of steps, 6 inches, and the rise of each step, 5 1/4 inches. Slapped a little paint and grip tape on, and shazam, Grandma's hill climb is almost a walk in the park 🤙

Too many times we have ran into bathrooms where the "problem" is just a toilet leak. Most people think just replacing the wax ring will fix it, negative. When the floor is already rotting away, chances are the toilet has been leaking for a while, in this case here, for YEARS. In one picture, there was a galvanized kitchen drain that ran underneath the bathroom. Water had been leaking on the pipe for so long that it actually rusted out, leaving the kitchen to drain underneath the bathroom for we dont know how long! Plumbing got fixed, floor replaced, and bathroom reasembled.

Here's our most recent project, the Buster's family had an unfortunate fire, leaving a few good graces behind, one being the concrete slab that was once their bedroom. Their vision? Re purposing it as their backporch! We did what we could to mimic the existing porch decks, excluding the underpinning. We poured some concrete piers between the porch and the house to support the "fill in" between the existing structures, along with adding on to an existing deck by the back door, and re purposing the existing stairs, but also adding a small set of stairs going directly to the back porch patio. This job was not a HUGE job, but adding on and re purposing materials to an existing deck made this work a little meticulous, but I think the Buster family will thoroughly enjoy it for years to come! 🤙

A few years ago, Mr. And Mrs. Williams wanted to do a little conversion action on their front porch. We added some extra support beams to hold the load of the roof, wrapped the beam in red cedar planks, and a few 6x6 cedar posts to establish a wagon wheel. Had Jordan James come run some wires for some lighting, and bam, new porch 🤙
