Dragonfly Flower Farm

Happy National Cat Day! 🐈❤️

I couldn’t decide which cat deserved the spotlight today, so I finally just picked one. 😂

Between the house cats and the 16 barn cats, there are plenty of personalities, shenanigans, and furry little supervisors around Dragonfly Flower Farm.

Apparently, flower farming comes with a side gig in cat management.

Sixteen barn cats… and counting. No eye rolling please! 😉❤️

🌸 And just like that… our LAST flower subscription delivery of the season! 💐🌿

It’s hard to believe we’re wrapping up another season of growing flowers! From planting those tiny seeds and watching them grow, to spending countless hours in the garden picking blooms, dealing with weeds, bugs, mud, and whatever Mother Nature decides to throw our way… it’s always a little bittersweet when the season comes to an end. 🥹🌱

But days like this make it all worth it! Just look at all those beautiful blooms! Every bouquet is a little different, and I love getting to mix all the colors, textures, and unexpected little surprises that the garden gives us. 🌼🧡🩷

A BIG thank you to everyone who signed up for a flower subscription this season and supported our little flower farm. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or just found us this year, I’m so grateful you’re here and that I get to share a little piece of the farm with you. ❤️

Now it’s time to start dreaming about next year’s garden, flipping through seed catalogs, and probably planting way more flowers than I have room for… because apparently, I never learn! And next year our season might just be starting a little bit earlier. 🌷🌷🌷🌷

🌸 Stay tuned for our 2027 flower subscription offerings! And special event line up🌸

I can’t wait to see what next season brings, and I’d love to have you along for the ride!

Thank you for another beautiful flower season!

Looking for something fun to do with the kids, grandkids, or even your mom? This one is for ALL ages!

Join us at Dragonfly Flower Farm for our Pressed Flower Pumpkin Class, offered through the Park District! 🌼

We’ll take beautiful dried, pressed flowers and turn ordinary pumpkins into little works of art. No carving, no scary knives, and no artistic talent required — just a little imagination and a love of pretty things! 💐

💕 Bring the kids.
💕 Bring the grandkids.
💕 Bring Grandma.
💕 Or come enjoy a creative afternoon with a friend!

It’s the kind of old-fashioned fun where generations can sit together, create something beautiful, share a few laughs, and make memories along the way.

And the best part? Everyone gets to take home their own one-of-a-kind floral pumpkin!

🌸 A little flower magic, a little fall fun, and a whole lot of memory-making at the farm.

If you're not yet registered for Blooms, Books & BOOze, it's TIME. We just added Living Dead Girl Tarot to the program, so you can have her give you a reading (tips encouraged).

And here are some other changes we announced yesterday:

- venue is now my own beautiful barn, out in the dark, spooky country!

- no more cash bar; instead BYOB with the first round on me

- new, affordable ticket options for couples ($100 for the pair, rather than $75 each) and foursomes (buy 3 get 1 free)

So, coax your date or squad to get off the couch and join us for some spooky fun the evening of Thursday, October 15!

🍂🌸 PUMPKINS, PETALS & A LITTLE FARM MAGIC 🌸🍂

Who says pumpkins have to be carved? 🎃

Join us at Dragonfly Flower Farm for a creative class where we’ll transform pumpkins into beautiful works of art using dried, pressed flowers! 🌼

Think autumn meets an old-fashioned botanical garden… a little bit whimsical, a little bit rustic, and completely unique. Each pumpkin becomes its own little masterpiece, preserving the beauty of flowers long after summer has faded.

✨ A fun way to welcome fall
🌸 Beautiful pressed flowers
🎃 A pumpkin you’ll be proud to display all season

This class is offered through the Park District, so be sure to register through them!

Come spend a little time at the farm, get creative, and take home something beautiful. Because around here, we believe there’s always room for a few more flowers. 💐
