Grunt Boards Woodworking

09/26/2026

How cute is this?! We dropped this off to a dear friend yesterday for his mom’s house! He gave us a picture of what she wanted and Grunt Boards made it happen! Made to last, from 100 year old reclaimed wood, hand cut, laser engraved with hand painted numbers!

This inspired us, so stay tuned for the one we’re making for our own home! 🎉

And, if you want one for your home with your pets personalized on it, get your orders in fast, we’re getting booked up!

What an honor it was to be able to make this engraved gift for a dear friend of the actual ultrasound of their very first baby!

We love helping our customer’s visions come to life, but it’s always fun to get to do some work on your own home too.

This awkward closet under our stairs has been such a challenge over the years… until now! Now it’s the baking pantry of my wife’s dreams!

Thank you so much Cathy! It was a pleasure helping you with this!

Thank you John Bailey for making this custom register vent for me. It is beautiful. We ordered lots online and none would fit. John made sure it was a perfect match to my floor. None of them were as beautiful as this one. This one is a perfect fit. I highly recommend him for your custom woodworking needs.

Some things are made to be used for years and passed down for generations. 🤎

This bench started with wood that already had a story — 100-year-old timber that has weathered time and now gets a second life as a piece for your home.

Built the old-fashioned way with craftsmanship you don’t see every day — traditional notched joinery, dowels, pocket holes, and a whole lot of attention to the little details.

She’s chunky, sturdy, completely customizable, and built to become part of your family’s story. She’s the first piece in our “Heirloom Collection”.

Whether she lives on your front porch, in your entryway, or somewhere your family gathers, this is the kind of piece that’s meant to be loved for generations.

We’re now taking orders for personalized heirloom quality benches. ❤️

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

From our veteran-owned small business, we want to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July!

Around here, we’re thankful for our freedom, our community, and the folks who choose to support local businesses like ours. We also know the real competition today isn’t the fireworks—it’s whose potato salad is best. 😂

Thank you to all who have served and to everyone who continues to support veteran-owned and small businesses.

Have a blessed Independence Day, and God bless America! ❤️🤍💙

If you recently received an automated message from us, we want to sincerely apologize. We aren’t sure why this happened, this is NOT how we do business and we’re working hard to fix the issue. Hopefully this won’t happen again.

There’s just something special about giving old wood a new story. 🤍

This custom porch swing was built from 100-year-old reclaimed American white oak and personalized with the family’s name across the top, plus each daughter’s name and birth flower carefully laser burned into the arms. A piece made to be enjoyed today and passed down for years to come.

If you’ve been dreaming of a custom heirloom porch swing that’s made just for your family, send us a message. We’d love to build something that’s uniquely yours.
