For those who have never ordered from us. Here is how it works.

We don’t take any orders until January 15 at Noon Pacific Standard time. We are in the Northwest. Go Seahawks.

We don’t take orders before hand because usually by that time I have received the roses and evaluated them. They are potted immediately. Turns out the NW is perfect for roses in winter. Lots of rain.

We also want to give anyone a fair chance to get what they want. Some of you are a little rose crazy. And I hate those crying face emojis showing disappointment. If you are one of those people you may want to do a count down or something, because we usually get over a hundred texts in the first minutes.

We do not take payment at time of ordering. We go out in the field and pull roses for the people who text in the order they were received. If you live in New York we will hold them for you until the beginning of April at least without payment.

Roses are shipped in a bag with some soil to keep the roots happy. We can usually fit up to 5 roses in a 8x8x20 box. The cost of shipping those was around $20 to $30 last year.

I think we will be selling roses for $34.95 next year. May change it, but probably not. All the roses are grade 1. Almost all the interactions are with me via text message 2535098409.

April and Ashley was a source for roses from amazing hybridizers. They have decided to go in a new direction and focus on the cut flower trade.

As you all know I am not a florist and do not sell cut flowers so this is the end of my interest in April and Ashley.

However, I am still very interested in roses from those breeders and the good news is the roses are still living and available too me this January. My order is still in the books and since I have a pretty good relationship with the actual growers I am not worried about getting the raw end of the deal.

The roses that April and Ashley carried were grown by Francis Roses all this time anyway. And Francis Roses isn’t a new company. I know the owner, the head of the growing department and the General Manager.

The good news is they will be available to us just like before. The better news they won’t have those ridiculous papery tags shaped like bees. That was a train wreck, still not over it. Okay I am exaggerating.

Anyway, I have attached the initial order I have coming from Francis Roses. I should be getting more just stay tuned.

Finally, Everyone who has followed this page knows I am about roses and not personalities, companies, corporations and conglomerates.
(Oooh, how bout that alliteration? Eh)

Anyway, I never knew April or Ashley or any of that stuff. Every post I ever made about them was about the roses. And the roses are still coming to us and too you the same as last year, but the selection is more refined and better.
