Countertops are officially finished 🙌

We had to hit pause on the install last week when I noticed the sink cutout was too tight for the BLANCO workstation accessories to fit properly.

Instead of forcing it and moving on, we pulled the countertop section, sent it back to the fabrication shop with the sink and accessories, had the opening corrected, and test-fit everything before reinstalling.

Remodels don’t always go perfectly. Things come up. The important part is catching them, fixing them properly, and making sure the homeowner gets what they paid for.

That’s a big part of what project management should look like.

Kitchen remodel update 👀

Cabinets are installed for the most part and this kitchen is really starting to come together. Next up, countertop templates.

We also had a last minute decision to relocate the outlets off the backsplash wall, which means making a few adjustments before we keep moving forward. That’s remodeling. Decisions change, things get uncovered, and sometimes the plan gets tweaked along the way. We roll with it and make sure it’s done right.

Our client is currently out of town, which has actually given us some flexibility with the schedule. Rather than rushing through each phase just to keep the calendar moving, we’ve been able to take our time, coordinate the trades, make changes as they come up, and get everything dialed in before she gets back.

Progress isn’t always about how fast you can finish. Sometimes it’s about having the time to make the right decisions along the way.

Diane’s kitchen remodel is officially through the first phase. 👊

We just wrapped up paint, which means the demo, framing, drywall, electrical and plumbing rough in work, and all the other behind the scenes prep is basically complete.

Now we get to move into the fun part.

Cabinets are next, and once those start going in, this kitchen is really going to start looking like the finished space we’ve been working toward.

Clean, modern, and fully dialed in 👌

Just wrapped up this custom cabinet lighting install and this one hits different. Full RGB + tunable white setup, aluminum channel system with diffused covers for that smooth, no-dot finish, and everything tied into a controller for easy color changes.

Day to day you get a clean warm white… but when it’s time to switch it up, the whole space transforms 🔥

Lighting like this doesn’t just brighten a room, it changes how it feels.
