Great cabinetry design room by room.

From custom closets and dressing rooms to bathroom vanities and built-in storage, thoughtful cabinetry can transform how a space looks, feels, and functions.

In the dressing room of this project in Ipswich, rich walnut wood cabinetry by Shiloh creates a warm, tailored feel, with floor-to-ceiling paneled doors, integrated drawers, open shoe shelving, and unique hardware - making the storage feel like an architectural feature rather than simply a closet.

Just steps away, the bathroom takes a completely different approach. A custom color vanity by Shiloh with detailed door and drawer fronts, sculptural brass hardware, and a crisp white countertop complements the playful botanical wallpaper and warm brass fixtures.

At Grand Banks, our cabinetry design services extend far beyond kitchens. We work closely with interior designers, architects, and contractors to source distinctive, high-quality materials and develop custom cabinetry solutions that support their creative vision.

Hosted at our Gloucester showroom and curated by interior designer Ramona Pettygrave Shah, this discussion brings together a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to help you navigate the opportunities and challenges of owning, buying, or renovating an older home.

“Hiraeth” - a Welsh word for a deep, melancholic longing for home, for a place, a time, or a sense of belonging that is irrevocably lost—or perhaps never truly existed.

On November 5th, Grand Banks welcomes Rockport artist Ryan Davis for the opening of Hiraeth, a new series exploring the emotional landscape of home and the places we carry with us long after we have left them.

Rooted in the landscape he calls home, Davis’s work reflects on memory, place, and the passage of time—considering what remains, what changes, and what can only exist in recollection.

Join us for an opening reception celebrating the artist and the debut of this new body of work.

A perfect New England fall evening to support an important cause!

We are overcome with gratitude for our Cape Ann community for showing up to our 2nd annual Little River Reverb benefit concert and making it such an unforgettable night.

Great music echoing across the Annisquam River, delicious food from Rhea Pizzeria Nepolitana, an outdoor b**rgarden with True North Ales, and a whole lot of good people in one place.

But the best part of the night was knowing that the funds raised are going back into the community through ACTION, Inc.

For 60 years, ACTION, Inc. has been here for our neighbors across Cape Ann — helping local individuals and families with housing assistance and homelessness prevention, energy assistance, workforce development, education, and other essential resources. Their work reaches people right here in Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Essex, and Ipswich.

We’re proud to have Little River Reverb be a small part of supporting that work.

Huge thanks to Surnames, Wh***ey Talk, The Crab Elastic, and Jeff Conley for dedicating their time and the incredible variety of local music, Rhea Pizzeria and True North Ale Company for keeping everyone fed and refreshed, and to all of the volunteers, friends, family, and the Grand Banks team who helped make the night happen.

And to everyone who bought a ticket and came out — thank you. This is what community looks like, and we’re lucky to be part of it.

Until next year!

Our 2nd annual benefit concert for Action Inc - Little River Reverb - is just around the corner!

Because of the incredible support and success last year, we had to do it again! Tickets are on sale now for this end-of-summer event on September 19th right in our own backyard in Gloucester.

Last year’s event was such a great night — a full crowd along the river, great music, good food, and an amazing community coming together to support an essential Cape Ann organization!

This year, we’ll be back on the Annisquam with Jeff Conley, The Crab Elastic, Wh***ey Talk and new addition, Surnames!

Plus we’ll have wood-fired pizza from local Rhea Pizzeria Napoletana foodtruck and craft b**r & w**e from True North Ale Company

Grab a beach chair or blanket, come hang out by the river, and enjoy one of those September nights that reminds you why we love Cape Ann!

Tickets are available now, and the concert is right around the corner. All ticket proceeds go to ACTION, Inc., supporting their work in our local communities.

If you’re planning to come, now’s the time to grab your spot via our link in bio!

We hope to see you there!

Our Grand Banks Team is back for the final phase of the Basilica Condominiums in Charlestown’s historic Navy Yard.

These massive, round-top triple-hungs are custom-fabricated Marvin units designed to closely replicate the proportions, character, and operation of the building’s original 100-year-old all-wood windows—while delivering the performance expected from a modern window system.

Fabricated by the team at Marvin’s manufacturing facility in Warroad, the new units combine historic detailing with exterior aluminum cladding, improved energy efficiency, enhanced weather resistance, and custom-fit screens.

For the residents, that means beautiful windows that are finally operable and better suited to New England’s climate. For the project team, it meant navigating the complexities of a large-scale historic window replacement with highly customized units and a demanding installation.

Projects like Basilica are a great example of where product expertise and installation experience really matter. We’re proud of the work our team has contributed and grateful for our project partners who have helped bring this phase together.
