Fancy Fronds Nursery

Fancy Fronds Nursery Fancy Fronds specializes in outdoor temperate garden ferns for every growing zone in the U.S. and beyond. Come tour our garden on the scenic Skykomish river!

We ship ferns via mail order, and our nursery in Gold Bar, WA is open by appointment. Established in the 1980s, Fancy Fronds Nursery is a one-woman show starring Judith Jones. She runs her 5 acre nursery in Gold Bar, Washington, along the scenic Skykomish river. Judith specializes in fern cultivation, and has one of the most extensive collections in the U.S. (plus she's a kick in the pants). She offers a wide selection of ferns at her nursery, which is open by appointment (call us for an appointment!), during our annual "Frolic" Open House the second weekend in August, or via mail order.
