Leaving the leaves provides a blanket in the winter for frogs, bees, fireflies, moths, dragonflies, and so many others.

It enriches the soil and provides nutrients, saves time on yard work, and it looks so pretty with all of the leaves, so why not leave it.

Earthworms are so good to have in your soil so if you see them, leave them there.

They enhance the soil and pack it full of nutrients.

Improve soil structure so that there is less run off.

Clean the soil breaking down pollutants.

Provide food sources for other species like birds, and frogs.

So be sure you feed Herman the worm all the grub he could want. 😁🪱
