THE DOOR DISTRICT 🚪
Population: Too Many

Took the door district and turned it into a more functional pantry space for a great family. We had 4 doors that could hit each other at any given time. We removed 2 of them and the dividing wall between and added some beautiful green cabinets to make this space work better as a pantry for the family.

We also added a few matching green cabinets above the washer and dryer.

This project was such a cool and unique transformation!

This deck went from tired and dated to fresh, modern, and ready to enjoy! 🙌

We gave this space a complete facelift with:

🪵 Sherwin-Williams Savannah stain for a warm, rich finish
🏡 Brand-new Westbury Tuscany Bronze railing for a clean, modern look
✨ A whole new feel without changing the footprint of the deck

The bronze railing really makes the warm stain pop and gives this backyard a completely different look!

Both of these methods can hold up a deck—but which one would you rather have under yours? 👀

The photo on the left is a deck post we recently removed. The deterioration was concentrated right around ground level.

The photo on the right shows how we prefer to build them: a concrete footing brought above grade with the wood post secured on a metal post base.

Keeping the wood above the surrounding soil helps reduce moisture exposure and also leaves the connection visible for future inspection.

A lot of what determines how a deck holds up happens before the first deck board ever goes down.

If you’re getting quotes for a new deck, ask your contractor how they’re handling the footings and post connections.

Another deck wrapped up! 🔨

This one got a serious upgrade with Deckorators composite decking paired with Westbury aluminum railing. The combination turned out sharp — clean lines, low maintenance, and built to hold up for years to come.

The new staircase and black aluminum railing really finish this one off. 👌

Another project is moving right along! 💪

The framing stage is officially complete on this basement finish, and it’s exciting to see the layout come to life. Every wall is built with the finished space in mind, setting the foundation for a beautiful basement the homeowners will enjoy for years to come.

Next up: electrical, plumbing, insulation, drywall, and turning this into an incredible living space. Stay tuned for the transformation! 🔨🏡
