Your garage can be beautiful...
and still be allowed to get dirty.

This is where snow, mud, bikes, tools, cars and mountain gear all collide.

So a dream garage shouldn't just photograph well.

It needs materials and storage that can handle real life.

โœ”๏ธ Cabinetry gets things off the floor.
โœ”๏ธ Wall storage keeps frequently used gear accessible.
โœ”๏ธ And flooring options like SwissTrax can completely change the finished look while creating a more intentional garage space.

Because around here, the garage isn't an afterthought.

For a lot of families, it's one of the hardest-working rooms in the house.

Would your dream garage lean more workshop, gear headquarters, car space... or all three?

If your hamper is sitting in the middle of your beautiful closet...
we have options. ๐Ÿ˜‚

A tilt-out hamper keeps laundry contained without requiring a freestanding basket to eat up floor space.

Open it.
Drop in the laundry.
Close it.

And suddenly the pile of clothes isn't part of the room decor.

This is one of those features we love because it solves a very ordinary problem in a really clean way.

Custom storage doesn't need to be fancy for the sake of being fancy.
The best features solve something that annoys you over and over again.

And if that annoyance happens to be a pile of socks on the floor?
We know a guy.

A custom consultation isn't about Kevin walking into your house and finding the most expensive way to fill a wall.

Your budget is part of the design.

During an in-home consultation, Kevin looks at the space, what you need to store, the features that matter most to you and what you want to invest.

Then those pieces come together in the design.

Maybe drawers are a must-have.
Maybe you'd rather put more of the budget into shoe storage.
Maybe accessories can wait.
Maybe there's an area where a simpler solution works perfectly.

Custom design is about choosing where your money makes the biggest difference for your priorities.

Because the best design isn't the one with every possible upgrade.
It's the one you're happy you invested in every time you use it.

Here's an organizational mistake that's especially easy to make in Colorado:

Giving something you use twice a year the same prime real estate as something you use every day.

Your everyday jacket shouldn't be buried behind formalwear.
The holiday serving platter doesn't need the easiest-to-reach pantry shelf.
And summer gear doesn't need to compete with winter gear all year long.

Think of your storage in zones based on frequency.

Everyday = easiest to reach.
Occasional = higher or less prominent storage.
Seasonal = rotate when needed.

You don't necessarily need to get rid of everything.

You just need to stop making your everyday stuff fight for space with things you won't touch for six months.

Sharing a closet doesn't mean you need equal amounts of every kind of storage.

One person may need mostly hanging space.
The other might fold half their wardrobe.

One has six pairs of shoes.
The other has... significantly more. ๐Ÿ˜‚

That's where builder-grade closets fall short.
They give both people the same shelf and rod whether it makes sense or not.

A custom design can create different storage within the same space based on what each person actually owns.

Your side doesn't have to look exactly like their side.

It needs to work for YOU.

Because โ€œfairโ€ closet storage isn't necessarily 50/50.

It's both people being able to find their stuff without starting a domestic incident before breakfast.

Kevin has been working in the closet and storage industry since 1999.
Do the math and that's a whole lot of closets. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But one of the things he still enjoys is figuring out the puzzle.

Every house is different.
Every homeowner stores different things.
Every awkward corner, sloped ceiling or strange wall creates a new problem to solve.
And that's probably why this work still fits him so well.

He's never been much of a โ€œgood enough, slap it up there and move onโ€ kind of guy.
He likes figuring out how something can work better.

After more than 25 years, the tools and products have evolved, but the basic question hasn't:

What would make this space work better for the person who lives here?

That's where every OLS design begins.

Laundry is already a chore.

Your laundry room doesn't need to make it worse.

If you're sorting clothes on the floor, storing detergent wherever it'll fit and moving piles from one surface to another just so you have room to fold...
the room is working against you.

A laundry-room transformation can create dedicated places for supplies, hampers, hanging clothes and folding.

The goal isn't to make laundry magically fun.

Kevin is good, but we're not promising miracles here. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The goal is to remove the unnecessary frustration around the chore.

When a room functions better, the job happening inside it gets easier too.

What's the most annoying thing about your laundry space?

Dream pantry question:
Would you rather have a pantry that's Instagram-pretty...
or one where you can actually tell what you own before buying your fifth bottle of ketchup?

We'll vote for BOTH. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The dream pantry isn't just rows of matching containers.

It's designed so everyday items are easy to reach, categories make sense, bulky items have somewhere to go and food isn't disappearing behind other food.

Imagine opening the door and being able to see what you're running low on.

No digging.
No avalanche.
No discovering three expired boxes of crackers hiding in the back.

THAT is pantry luxury.

If we could wave a magic wand over your pantry today, what would you change first?

You know that drawer.

The one where belts, jewelry, watches, sunglasses, and random accessories have formed their own tiny civilization.

You open it looking for ONE thing, and suddenly you're on an archaeological expedition. ๐Ÿ˜‚

This is where the little details in a custom closet can make a surprisingly big difference.

Instead of adding another drawer and hoping everything behaves itself, accessories like jewelry trays, dividers, pull-out storage, and dedicated compartments give the small stuff an actual home.

And that's really the secret to organization:

If something doesn't have a home, it becomes clutter.

Kevin can incorporate those details right into the design so the finished space isn't just beautiful on installation day. It's easier to KEEP organized afterward.

Because nobody needs to start Tuesday morning untangling three necklaces from a belt buckle.

What's the messiest drawer in your house right now?

One of the hardest parts about changing a space in your home is imagining what it could become.

You know what you DON'T like.
You know what isn't working.
But standing in the middle of an empty closet trying to mentally turn measurements into shelving, drawers, and hanging space?
That's another story.

That's why the design process matters.

Kevin takes measurements, talks through what you need to store and how you use the space, then creates a 3D design so you can actually see the plan before installation begins.

You aren't crossing your fingers and hoping the finished project looks like what you imagined.

You get to review the design first.
Custom shouldn't mean mysterious.
You should understand exactly what you're investing in before it goes into your home.
