DAC Industries started with a fence contractor who knew the industry needed better gate hardware.

As a contractor, Dan was frustrated by the lack of quality options available and knew firsthand what installers needed in the field. He set out to design and manufacture gate hardware that not only looked good, but was built to perform and stand the test of time.

Since 1985, DAC has grown from developing its original Auto-Latch to manufacturing and supplying a broad range of gate hardware solutions for contractors, wholesalers, and projects across the country.

That same focus still drives DAC today: quality products, practical solutions, and knowledgeable support from people who understand the fence industry.

Whenever possible, DAC sources products and materials in the United States and continues developing durable hardware designed around real-world applications.

A gate can look great and still underperform if the hardware is not built for the job.

Latches, hinges, rollers, closers, panic hardware, and access control components all play a role in how smoothly, safely, and reliably a gate performs over time.

That is why at DAC, we've always prioritized quality products designed for real-world fence applications.

From everyday pedestrian gates to high-security and commercial installations, the right hardware makes the difference.

A dumpster enclosure gate needs hardware suited to the way it’s built and used.

The Sentry Latch is a heavy-duty option designed for access from one side. It adjusts for a 1″ to 2½″ gap and can be used on steel, wood-on-steel, ornamental, polyvinyl, and wood gates.

Choosing the right gate hardware starts with understanding the application.

A school entrance, sports facility, playground, commercial site, and ornamental gate all have different requirements. Some need added security. Some need self-latching functionality. Some need controlled access, panic hardware, or hardware that supports high-traffic daily use.

That is why we work with fence contractors and industry professionals to match the right hardware to the job.
