HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃

10/29/2026

This bedroom just needed a refresh. New lamps, new bedding, new bed and drapes.
We were able to keep dressers and some art.
These small changes added up to a completely different room to rest and relax in.
The primary bedrooms are traditionally the last room in the house to be updated.
Is that your room as well?

It always makes you feel good when a client reaches out to thank you for your work months after the process is complete.
This particular client was one that just needed a refresh, finishing touches to really bring his home all together. Here’s an example of the items we added in the living room and the nice words he sent me.

“I’ve enjoyed working with you the past several months, my house has been wonderfully transformed and now feels like “my home”.
You truly exceeded my expectations and I want to thank you for all of your amazing ideas.” ~ Doug

If this is still your bathroom, it’s time to call a designer like me. 1990’s were great weren’t they?

A confident hue with inherent character, this quintessential green is both adaptable and impactful.

What a dramatic change walking into this kitchen for your morning coffee!
Not only are things visually updated, but of the movement and flow of the kitchen has completely changed. No longer is the client trapped in a peninsula setting. She can move around easily and more importantly, others can enter and not be in her way. What a change!

Sometimes you don’t know how far you’ve come until you look back. I love before and after photos for this very reason.
In any remodel, there’s always a ton of selections, decisions, choices. That’s one thing an interior designer can help with, but it’s still fun to compare in the end to celebrate your success.

Trades Day 2026 ~
A chance for Nevada County high schoolers to get a hands-on, interactive introduction to the trades. The possibilities, the careers, the pathways are endless and local businesses showed up strong again dedicating their time to to help these kids recognize all the possibilities.
I was proud to join the efforts again, introducing boys and girls about the field of interior design.

A bathroom remodel that brought it up to date. This bathroom offers a lot of natural light, soft curves with the round mirror and curved shower curtain rod. It’s inviting for any guest overnight or otherwise.
