🎉 10 Years of JV General Maintenance 🎉
It’s hard to believe that 10 years ago, JV General Maintenance was just an idea.
In 2016, Jonathan and I made one of the biggest and most meaningful decisions of our lives. And no... it wasn’t marriage just yet. 😂
We shared a passion for serving others, working hard, and building something of our own that could one day become a legacy for our family.
So, with Jonathan’s years of hands-on maintenance experience and my desire to build the business behind the work, we took a leap of faith and started JV General Maintenance.
And what a journey it has been.
When you start a business, you think about the exciting parts—the growth, the success, maybe even seeing your name on a truck one day.
You don’t necessarily think about the late nights, managing employees, solving problems, sending invoices, making mistakes, making sacrifices... or cleaning some of the dirtiest bathrooms you’ve ever seen. 😂
And you definitely don’t realize that when you own a business, you never really clock out.
It hasn’t always been easy. There have been long days, challenges, tears, mistakes, and a LOT of learning along the way.
But there has also been so much to be grateful for. ❤️
We’ve watched homes completely transform. We’ve had the privilege of serving families throughout our community. We’ve walked into apartment communities for one job and watched that one opportunity turn into years of work, relationships, and trust.
And as we approached our 10th anniversary, we decided to really look back.
We went through ten years of invoices, reports, and projects...
and even we were surprised by what we found.
🏠 1,000+ apartment projects completed
🛠️ 2,000+ services performed
🏢 More than 17 apartment communities served
🔑 And many residential homes served throughout the Triad
Seeing those numbers all together was pretty incredible.
But as proud as we are of them, the numbers aren’t what we’re most proud of.
It’s the people behind them.
The property managers who took a chance on us.
The supervisors who kept calling.
The homeowners who trusted us with their homes.
The employees and vendors who became part of our journey.
And the family and friends who believed in us and supported us along the way.
You didn’t just give JV work.
You gave us your trust.
And that is something we will never take for granted.
JV General Maintenance is more than a business to our family. It’s a dream that became a reality. It’s hard work, sacrifice, relationships, and a business built on a foundation of faith, with God at the center.
So as we celebrate this milestone, Jonathan and I simply want to say...
