💧Last week, our crew completed an interior French drainage system to help keep this basement dry and protected from unwanted water intrusion!

The drainage system is installed beneath the freshly poured concrete along the basement perimeter, providing a long-term solution for managing water.

🏡What’s next for this basement?

Once the new concrete has properly cured, this homeowner can choose to finish his floor with epoxy coatings, Nature Stone, carpet, other flooring options, or simply leave it as is.

While the drainage system is now hidden beneath the concrete, it’s working behind the scenes to keep this basement dry!

Another basement transformation wrapped up this week! 💧

Before beginning the waterproofing process, our crew took care of some important prep work to give this basement a clean, fresh start. We removed and disposed of moisture-damaged shelving, an outdated bathroom and shower, along with other affected wood and materials.

From there, we completed the interior waterproofing system, installed a new utility sink, added two new vented glass block windows, and encapsulated the crawl space to help protect that area from moisture as well.

This basement is now a dry and protected space ready for whatever the homeowner decides to do with it in the future.

👉 Thinking about having your basement or crawl space done? We currently have one opening remaining at the end of October. After that, our schedule is filling quickly into early 2027.

Another drainage project completed! 💧

This Mercer, PA homeowner was dealing with significant water runoff from Route 173, with water rushing down the driveway and causing flooding all the way up to the home.

To help control and redirect the water, our crew installed two 15-foot metal trench drains, along with approximately 100 feet of drainage piping from each drain to carry the water safely away from the home and property. Thanks to RS Construction Solutions for your help with the excavation process.

Water intrusion often begins with how water is being managed around your home. Proper grading, functioning gutters, and downspouts that carry water away from the foundation can make a huge difference.

On this project, our crew installed 620 feet of underground drainage pipe, connected 9 downspouts, installed a 50-foot French drain, and more - all to help properly manage water and direct it away from the home and foundation.
