A little less weight, a little less reach, and a lot fewer walnuts hitting the roof!

This large walnut tree produces nuts roughly the size of golf balls, making for some pretty loud surprises when they land on the house!

We're performing selective weight and length reduction on large branches extending over our client's home. This helps reduce leverage and the risk of branch failure, while also reducing the likelihood of branches striking the home if a failure does occur.

Our clients are looking forward to fewer loud thuds on the roof and some added peace of mind!

Ive seen this a few times on trees growing around a pond or lake. People chain their canoes up to a tree to prevent theft and forget about the chain! We used an angle grinder and a pry bar to remove this chain. No visible signs of struggle in the canopy.

A better fit for the space. šŸŒ³

This River birch had developed a low, wide canopy that was beginning to take over the yard and encroach on the sidewalk. We selectively elevated the lower canopy to improve clearance and open up the space while maintaining the treeā€™s natural form.

Good pruning isnā€™t about removing as much as possibleā€”itā€™s about making intentional cuts that help the tree coexist with the space around it.

Crown reduction on a previously topped(by Homeowner) Pecan tree. Turned out great! The weaker branch attachments that occur from a topping will not be as stressed leading to branch failure. We treated it with Plant growth regulator after the reduction to help maintain the regrowth.

We opted to rig most of this tree out so we could minimize the damage done to the lawn.

Some branches in the upper canopy of this Lacebark are dying back. So we excavated the base and found all of these girdling roots. We will remove some of the major offenders and remove the rest at a later date.

Cottonwood tree uprooted on a fairway at Oak Tree golf course. Fortunately, we had an inconspicuous path we could use the full size skid steer to take it out one massive piece at a time.
