First of all Cox Farms would like to thank all of our customers and community for the outpouring of support this past week. Thank you for feeding our employees and all the prayers as well. We can assure you they have been felt! Something we have talked about in recent years is closing at lunch on Wednesday like most other businesses in town to allow our employees to spend time with their family and friends and be able to get things done they couldn’t get done on weekends due to working Saturdays. A lot of folks think that owning a family business is just a cake walk and that the owner is free to roam with loads of money unlimited lol. It’s long hours, unlimited phone calls, missed birthday parties and ball games, sleepless nights finishing homework with your kids, catching up clothes and cleaning the house, and wondering where in the heck all that time went. Starting today we will begin a new ritual for the Fall and Winter season. The recent loss of my father as well as my grandmother a few years back, who were both great bosses, has reminded me that God, Family, and Friends are what matters in this world. I very much appreciate each and every customer and their dedication to our business and we will continue to offer the same respect and dignity to every person that walks through our door. Sometimes you just need to “pause” to realize what is really important in life. All that being said, even me knowing that my father and grandmother will haunt me nonstop for doing it, our new business hours are as follows:

Mon. 7am-5pm
Tues. 7am-5pm
Wed. 7am-1pm
Thu. 7am-5pm
Fri. 7am-5pm
Sat. 7am-12pm

Thank you all for your business we love you!

Thanks
John Cox
