I got an order for chocolate biscotti for a birthday gift. Mom showed me how to make it look pretty in a jar. I hope the lady it goes to loves it! I will have chocolate peppermint biscotti at the Winter Bizaar in Astoria later this month. I love holiday baking!

I spun the globe and landed on Sweden so I made Swedish meatballs in gravy over mashed potatoes and a Swedish apple cake. It was delicious! On November 7th I will be making Hostess chocolate cupcakes, chocolate cake, angel food cake, and snickerdoodles for the dessert auction at 4H recognition night.

This week I learned to make marshmallows using marshmallow root, graham crackers, and chocolate bars from scratch. Today we used those to make s'mores. They were so good! The marshmallows were really gooey! Then we made homemade hot chocolate with the marshmallows in it and watched Halloween movies. 🎃

I am set up and ready for business at the Seaside Farmers Market for the last market of the season. I have double chocolate biscotti today along with my usual cookies and brownies.

I made one of mom's signature dishes. Apple and brie stuffed chicken with herb mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. It was a delicious rainy day.
