Part 1 or 5 - Thinking of building a luxury home in Central Virginia

Proper design planning takes time to figure out the right path forward. To deliver the best designs we start by asking dozens of questions. We want to know more about the site, how you want to live in this new place, your regular routines and special occasions, and your budget.

This idea of maximizing investment but also allowing for interesting design is a fun challenge. We looked at a few different forms the cabin could take. We wanted to capture the views, create a warm and inviting space, and keep the build economical for our client. I think the result is beautiful.

Discover luxury cabin architecture that combines amazing design, comfort, and breathtaking views, creating an exceptional space.

A core part of our business strategy is to use our time, skills, and abilities to make our community a better place for all. One of the best returns on investment we can make in this effort is helping the next generation. Massanutten Technical Center is one place where we see our investment making a difference. AND we got to enjoy some awesome music while supporting MTC! https://thegainesgroup.com/high-school-technical-education-is-critical-for-our-community/

The best advice I can give to anyone looking at career options is "find your passion." This doesn't have to be your career, but if it can be that is magical. I love solving design challenges to help people, my passion is service to others, I get to do that as an architect. Today is , think about your career options and reach out to someone doing the thing that feeds your soul and ask them about why they do it. I bet they would love to share their story and maybe be the mentor you have been looking for to help you achieve your dream.

I know this guy would not be an architect today if he had not met some key mentors that opened doors, set an example, and encouraged him that the dream was possible.

Thinking about the soil you own on your property is a fairly important first step if you want to live on your property. Noah Puckett with Agri-waste Technology loves talking about soil - habitat, nutrient recycler, foundation support, and water filter. Knowing the soil is critical to building your dream home. https://thegainesgroup.com/soil-is-our-most-important-natural-resource/
