My most recent mini trunk project. This is only 12" wide, has the original tray and working lock. The metal dark red color is original also. The original canvas covering was in poor condition, so was removed.

A very small rare "hand trunk" that I just finished cleaning up. It's only 11" wide. The parts and brass lock are original and I also left the interior of the lid as found. The brass lock with its fancy key is really nice. The back side has "W. Baker & Co. Exposition 1867" on it. This was probably a chocolate box from the Bakers Chocolate company before being made into a small trunk. Quite unusual!
This one is not for sale at this time but I may consider selling it some day. Thanks

Show and Tell: I love the miniature trunks and wanted to show one from my collection that was made in Portugal, early 1900's. It's all original and has beautiful lithographed metal covering, small metal handles, a working lock, and paper covered interior. I think it's very interesting to see what makers in other countries produced!
It's only 10" long.
