What a SWEET day at Sweet Magnolia Ridge! 🐝🌻🍓
We were thrilled to welcome 75 students and 15 staff members from Riley Elementary School of Leon County Schools for a day full of fun, learning, and farm adventures!
Students got an up-close look at honey bees, learned how honey is made, enjoyed a bee-themed read-aloud, and tasted fresh strawberries, blackberries, and squash grown right here at Sweet Magnolia Ridge. 🍓🫐🌽
Even though the rain kept us from the hayride, the fun didn’t stop! Everyone enjoyed popcorn, sweet treats, and lots of smiles while making unforgettable memories together. 🍿☔❤️
We also want to give a BIG shout-out to our amazing volunteers and community partners who helped make this event such a success:🐝 Jonros Brown, Samantha Dacosta and Godfred Okai from Florida A&M University’s Entomology Department for sharing knowledge and supporting our bee education activities📸 Jasmine Mason of Itsmasonproductions for capturing all the special moments from the day
We are also grateful for the support of our sponsors and community partners:
⭐ Nicole and Mark Kessler — Kessler Construction⭐ Audrey Thomas and Caitlin Painter — MillCreek Financial Consultants⭐ Shannon Smith, Candide Mullin, and Shelby Procter — The Moore Agency⭐ Tammy Creel — Carroll and Company, CPAs⭐ Mary Stafford — MidFlorida Credit Union
Thank you again to Riley Elementary School for spending the day with us. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the farm again soon! 🌻🚜🐝
