🎀 Together in the Fight Against Breast Cancer.

Today, October 19, in recognition of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Bridgebay Flooring Inc. is launching a fundraising initiative in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Our goal is to raise $1,000.00 to help fund critical research dedicated to advancing treatment options, improving patient outcomes, and deepening our understanding of breast cancer.

Edinburgh

Edinburgh was created for a high-end interior design firm that liked an existing sample, but needed the product specifications adjusted to better suit the project requirements.

Working alongside our manufacturing partners, we developed Edinburgh around those needs.

What changed?

* Changed the construction to a multi-layer Baltic Birch core for improved dimensional stability over radiant heat

* Increased overall thickness from 1/2” to 5/8” or 3/4” options

* Increased the wear layer from 3MM to 4MM or 6MM options

* Increased the width from 7” to 8 5/8”, 10 1/4”, or 12” options

* Improved overall board lengths

* Changed the grade from Rustic to Prime for a more refined look

* Improved the finish quality

* Shortened the estimated lead time

The result is a smoky, ashy, and moody European Oak that preserves the design direction of the original sample while offering a specification better suited to the demands of the project.

With the help of our manufacturing partners, Bridgebay can take a design direction a client already likes and develop a flooring specification around the needs of the project.
