Not every lock problem needs a new lock. If your lock still works fine and you just want to make sure old keys stop working, rekeying is usually all you need. It costs less than replacing hardware, and you walk away with new keys that only you have. If we think you need new hardware, we will tell you. If you don’t, we won’t sell it to you.

Depending on your vehicle, you may need a transponder chip, remote, or key fob programmed to the vehicle.

Not because your new locks are necessarily bad.

Because you have no idea who still has a copy of the old key.

Previous owners. Family members. Contractors. Babysitters. Dog walkers. That neighbor who “had a spare.”

You don't need to replace every lock, either. In many cases, we can rekey your existing locks so the old keys no longer work.

Same locks. New keys. Much less hassle.

Having trouble with a lock doesn’t automatically mean you need a brand-new one.

Sometimes it just needs a repair. Sometimes it needs to be rekeyed. And sometimes there’s a simple issue that can be fixed without replacing the whole thing.

If you recently purchased new locks from the local hardware store, only to find out that the locks don’t fit in the old holes; there is a good chance that your original doors may not be prepped correctly to fit modern hardware.
