Berkli Joe, our sweet most perfect Boxer girl of 14 years, 5,216 wonderful days passed away this morning surrounded by her family and her Vet. She was beyond stoic through it all and fought til the very end until she put her paw on my hand and told me it was ok, that she was ready to see her sister at the Rainbow Bridge. 💔 The hardest part is knowing when to let go. My heart kept saying "one more moment - just hang on," but she was telling us she was ready.
She was our buddy, my side-kick and ear for any and everything. Berkli has beaten melanoma, cardiac arrhythmias, polyps, a benign tumor on her spleen which her spleen was removed and most recently - indolent leukemia. She was happy through it all. She gave us 14 wonderful years of being absolutely perfect.
RIP sweet Berkli. I love you more than words can say and will see you and your sister again one day. Til then... 😭💔🙏🏼🐾🌈
