It was a good run wasn't it...started as Life at Two Oak, representing our home and family...then as we grew and were evaluated to become easier to understand what our product means, it was recommended we rebrand, and rename many of our original product line.

I guess growing means there will be 'growing pains' associated with where we want to be, where we've been, and how to arrive...So, THE GROUNDED ONE was born.

THE GROUNDED ONE has been leading our Founders Collection now for the past 4 months...it's been in the limelight as the star of the show..

Today, it's in the limelight for a different reason. We learned that our supplier will be changing their recipe and it will not longer fall into R+R's clean candle promise and standard that we uphold for our line and customers. The VERY difficult decision was to no longer carry this candle...But, then again...the VERY easy decision was that after what we have what's in stock is gone, we will retire this beauty and say our 'goodbyes', because keeping our promise means more to us, than holding on to something that doesn't represent who we are, our standards, and what we believe in.

So, if you love THE GROUNDED ONE like we do - Snag yourself one quick...we have around 200 in stock...but we imagine not for long through the season. We will bring some to our favorite markets while we have them - so, if you see us at:

Sometimes I think we have waaay too much fun…

Ever have a disagreement? We’ve got a candle for that.

Ever find yourself needing to give yourself a little space from your loved one? We’ve got a candle for that!

Listen, this might have been a spoof, but we are a married couple. When we don’t agree, don’t feel heard, or need some space…It doesn’t take long to come together and find ways to reconnect.

If I said to you, we’ve never argued, not spoken to one another, or walked away - We’d be liars.

So just like our candle ingredients, we tell it like it is - This is real life. We are real people running small biz, mostly hand in hand..,most always focused on what the other and circling the wagons when we need to.

Whoever said this is easy has to tell me the secret…whoever says stop being silly and goofy…,it’s how we get through it all.

It’s us… I mean if you’ve ever met us..,hopefully you walk away knowing we think with our hearts, are driven by one another and our family and we are filled with joy with what we do.

Good Morning!

It’s time to wake-y-wakey !! We’re over here turning up the tunes…back to watching our youngest grandson and keeping in step with everything Reverie and Roots | Candle Company related!

There’s a lot going on and to stay motivated and upright I’ve got to get jazzed!

Decadent is just that, a lil brown sugar and a big ole bunch of sweetness!

Whoa! 🤯

We didn’t know what to think, but here we are. Monday, Tuesday, and today we spent time as vendors for a Meta campus. To say we’re honored to have been selected is an understatement. To bring our story to a place where such a diverse, well educated, focused place and navigate as small business owners is and will be truly remain a remarkable memory for both Steve and I.

The candles we sold these past three days are the same ones we bring to markets and events. They’re made with our own hands and hearts.

If you were to tell us when we started this..,we would be here - right in this moment - we wouldn’t have been able to project.

Thank you to Steve E. and your team for being our “team”. You guys are really kind hearted and organized. That’s a great combination.

Thank you to everyone who took the time out of your busy day to stop in..,we can only hope to hear how much you love your R+R candles and products.

This…This…is US 😍

We’re married and run a small but growing business.

We are parents of six.

We navigate parenting, it just looks differently these days.

We’re grandparents of 2.5 (next due in February).

We miss our family under one roof, weird I know. You strive to get the freedom and realize it all went too fast…

Then you start a candle business to remember them…,send those who live too far the ones that remind them of home.l of us. As a token of our love.

We lived a crazy life so far with a first responder lifestyle, to corporate, to whimsical and attempts of being carefree…we work 7 days a week.steve even has a full time job -a real job & is chief candle maker extraordinaire.

There’s nobody that works harder than this guy!

We like to goof…a LOT! But, we also get overwhelmed, tired, worn down and frustrated.

Why? We’re just making candles, right? That’s easy!

There are a lot of moving parts to run a small business; A Lot! Finding the time to get it all done can take the life out of yah!

We try to find the laughter and the love along the way…& these little videos make us “laugh at ourselves” and it reduces stress and connects us as husband and wife.

Go ahead - test your marriage…run a business together 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Bwahahahaha!

I think we do just fine…buuuut, we’ve got to laugh along the way, it’s the best medicine!

As of this moment these are the remaining opportunities to shop Reverie and Roots | Candle Company in person through the end of the year: for yourself, hostess gifts, or holiday shopping.

We’ve booked through the end of the year and are always open to new events and to get before fresh eyes (& hearts) in front of our product.

Always check in to see where we’ll be..,things change. Weather happens, wind and rain are supposedly on our horizon..., don’t take that as a challenge Mother Nature.

We have some new events, some fun ones, and some favorites.

If you see TBA - note we’re on a waitlist for Napa Farmers Market and we typically hear on Wednesdays and then Steve is in Calistoga Farmers’ Market on those days:
