Our beautiful Folk Victorian home is getting some TLC! ❤️🏡

Coming soon: new gable trim, a new roof, and improved roof ventilation to help preserve and protect this historic gem. We’ll also be completing trim replacement, paint repairs, and historic window restoration to bring back even more of its original charm.

We’re excited to be working with local contractors who understand the importance of preserving historic homes — Dietrich Painting for painting, window restoration and preservation work, and S&H Construction for the roofing upgrades, siding repairs and gable trim installation.

It’s exciting to invest in the details that help keep this special Folk Victorian home beautiful and preserved for generations to come. ✨

A sweet little boquet we cut today. We've got about 2/3 of the flowers and seeds in with all the sunshine and warm weather today. Time to take a break and enjoy the yard with our children.

A Michigan Native, this Eastern Red Bud is a few years old. I received it as a gift from the Arbor Day Foundation after I made a donation. Its growing beautifully in our front corner garden.

Picked up Milorganite fertilizer - a tip I've learned a few years ago from my sister. It's great at keeping rabbits and deer out of your garden; and a great nitrogen fertilizer. It's a natural solution for animal control.
