Did your trick or treater lose a prop puppy? Hanging on the sign out front. Come claim him if he is yours.

I might’ve missed the deadline for being listed in the trick or treat trail map (Doh! 🤦‍♀️ Marketing is not my strong suit!), but we definitely have treats to give away today. I can’t wait to see everyone’s costumes and hope you find mine as funny as I do 🤣🐙😂

And if you’re in the mood to shop, come on inside and check out our new merch, we have lovely new items and a bunch of grand mirrors that just arrived.

Moth & Butterfly at 227 S Main Street in Hillsboro, IL, open Friday and Saturday 11-5, with other days by appointment.

What could be more splendid than a breakfast of champions from Black Rabbit Coffee Company - my favorite fall bevvie, a Badger Boy, accompanied by Paige’s unparalleled scones, two fabulous new options this weekend double chocolate and a savory scallion with white cheddar yum!

All of this to fuel my unpacking today as we put out new holiday merch, including festive jar candles —Halloween kitty cinnamon scented, plus Santa, reindeer, and snowy cardinals in evergreen or peppermint scents.

Stop in to see what’s new in the gallery this weekend, we are open today and Saturday 11-5.

I know it’s the week before Halloween, but Christmas is just 9 weekends away, so holiday merch is creeping into the shop slowly but surely.

Be sure to check out some of our new merch hitting the floor this weekend including holiday table linens, holiday jar candles (Halloween and Christmas ones!), slate party towers, vintage style tree toppers, blown glass ornaments and so much more!!!

What a great day to where all the shops are open —we’ve got lots of terrific new home decor items in, including this artificial plant (my favorite kind since I can’t neglect it!), beautiful scents from Nemat Perfumes, handmade pottery from Center Hill Pottery, vintage items and more!
