The best outdoor spaces don't just look beautiful when they're finished... They stand the test of time.

We completed this project years ago, and with a little routine maintenance, it’s looking brand new again.

A fresh power wash and re-grouting brought the stonework back to life. No major renovations. Just a little care for a space that was built to last.

That's the value of investing in quality craftsmanship and timeless design. With the right materials, proper installation, and occasional upkeep, your outdoor living space can continue to look beautiful for decades.

A beautiful backyard is one thing. A backyard that brings everything together is another. Swipe to see the before, the design, and the transformation.

This backyard had all the right elements: a covered porch, pergola, and flagstone patio. What it lacked was a thoughtful design to connect them.

We added a new flagstone patio, natural stone steps, and lush, layered plantings to transform disconnected areas into one cohesive outdoor living space.

The result? A beautiful backyard designed for morning coffee, evenings with friends, and everything in between.
And the best part? This project came to us through a referral, from a referral, from another referral. There’s no greater compliment!

Ready to refresh your front entry?

An outdated walkway can hold back the whole front of your home.

On this project in Pittsford, we tore out the old and swapped in natural blue stone paired with a clean, simple foundation planting. The difference is night and day!

Every project starts with our design team working closely with you to choose the colors, textures, and materials that fit your style. We also provide design renders, so you can see your new walkway before any work begins.

Fall cleanup, handled. 🍂

Our Fine Gardening crew is keeping this property sharp as the leaves come down, from clearing beds and lawns to maintaining the planters that frame the home all season long.

What do you care about most when it comes to your backyard?

Landscaping is no longer just about curb appeal. It is about creating environments that support how you live, recharge, and connect. In 2026 we are seeing a trend across our projects that combines thoughtful design with real, everyday function.

That is what a covered structure delivers. Cover overhead when the sky turns. Heat when the night does. Light that keeps the evening going. A kitchen and a bar where people already gather. Not ten perfect days a year, but most of the season.

A pergola for shade and definition.
A pavilion for a true outdoor room.
A covered porch that extends the house.
A cabana for the pool.
An outdoor kitchen you can use in any weather.

What makes it look like it belongs is the design. We start with your home. Your roofline. Your stone and trim. The view from your kitchen window. Then we carry those details outside.

Designed for the way you live.

Tell us what matters most in your backyard. Our design team will take it from there.

The best backyards in 2026 are not just nice to look at. They are places you actually live 🏡

A structure is what makes it possible. A pergola for shade and definition. A pavilion for a true outdoor room. A covered porch that extends the house. A cabana for the pool. An outdoor kitchen you can use in the rain.

The right one depends on how you want to live out there.

What makes it look like it belongs is the design. Our team starts with your home. Your roofline. Your stone and trim. The view from your kitchen window. The path from the back door to the grill. Then we carry those details outside, so the finished space reads as one property.

Your dream structure starts with a conversation. Reach out to our design team and let's put it on paper.

The best outdoor spaces give you more reasons to stay outside…

• Coffee under a covered patio before the day starts.
• Dinner cooking in the outdoor kitchen.
• A fire going after sunset.
• A space that works just as well for a quiet Sunday morning as it does for a full house on Friday night.

That’s where outdoor living is headed: more intentional, more comfortable, and multi-functional.

Covered patios, pavilions, outdoor kitchens, fire features, and lounge areas aren’t being treated as separate additions anymore. They’re being designed together around how you actually live, with thoughtful flow, privacy, materials, lighting, and seamless transitions from the home.

When every element is planned as part of one larger space, the backyard becomes more than something beautiful to look at. It becomes somewhere you genuinely want to spend your time.

That’s the value of working with JOSH Landscape Co. From the first concept through construction, one experienced team considers how every detail works together so the finished space feels cohesive, intentional, and built around your life.
