WE WON THE ʻILIMA AWARD FOR BEST ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT. BUT MY HEART ISN’T ON THE TROPHY. IT’S ON THE PEOPLE WHO GOT US HERE.
To our crew… I wish the world could see what I see in you. The sacrifices, the tired feet, the long days, and the personal struggles you leave outside those doors so you can show up and give your best. You are so much more than the work you do. You are family, and this award has a piece of every one of you in it. I pray God blesses you as much as you’ve blessed this dream.
To our customers… every time you chose us, you did more than buy a meal. You helped put food on our crew’s tables, support their families, and keep a dream alive. You may never know what your support has meant to us, but we thank God for every single one of you. ❤️
And to God… 🙏🏼
You know the tears nobody saw. The prayers whispered in silence. The weight of trying to keep a dream alive when so many people are counting on you.
This award is a reminder that even when we couldn’t see the whole plan, You were there all along.
One day, this restaurant will be a memory. The trophies will gather dust. But I pray the people we loved, the families we fed, and the lives we touched will remember that they mattered here.
If you’ve ever worked beside us, shared a meal with us, supported us, or believed in us when we were still figuring it all out, please know that a piece of this moment belongs to you.
We may have won an award for feeding people, but God blessed us with the opportunity to do something far greater: to build a family, serve our community, and love people along the way.
Mahalo, Hawaiʻi. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our story.
God, this was never just about us. And it never will be. All glory belongs to You. Always. 🙏🏼
