A drywall repair shouldn’t look like a drywall repair when we’re finished.

This bathroom had damaged drywall that needed more than a little paint thrown over it.

Low Country Craftsman repaired the damaged areas, refinished the walls, prepared the surface and repainted everything so the repair blended back into the existing bathroom.

The goal?

When we leave, you shouldn’t be able to tell where the damage was.

Not every home project needs to be a complete remodel. Sometimes you just need somebody who will take care of the repairs, finish them correctly, and leave your home looking better than we found it.

Lately we have been assisting with a commercial project that will benefit the community and the children. Projects like this are what Low Country Craftsman loves to be a part of. Building together for our future.

There’s something rewarding about being part of a project that will eventually serve people right here in our community.

Low Country Craftsman has always been about more than just completing a punch list. Whether we’re working inside someone’s home or stepping into a commercial project, we take pride in being one small part of turning an unfinished space into something useful.

This week we’ve been making progress on a commercial job—hanging drywall, getting the first coat of mud on, and watching another space slowly start to come together.

These may not be the glamorous “after” photos yet, but this is the part of construction we enjoy. The progress. The craftsmanship. Knowing that every board hung, every joint finished, and every detail handled correctly gets the project one step closer to serving its purpose.

A simple upgrade can completely change a room. 🔨

We took this plain wall and gave it a clean, finished look with custom horizontal shiplap — carefully fitted around the existing opening, outlets, trim, and angled ceiling.

It’s projects like this that show how much character you can add to a home without doing a complete remodel.

A New Season for Low Country Craftsman

Low Country Craftsman is entering a new season — with a change in ownership, leadership, and direction.

Going forward, I am the sole owner of LCC and will personally oversee the direction and day-to-day operations of the company.

Building a successful company requires more than a title. It requires accountability, consistency, communication, follow-through, and a willingness to lead by example — especially when things get difficult.

Those are the expectations that will define Low Country Craftsman moving forward.

LCC will operate with a renewed focus on craftsmanship, quality, and how each project is managed from start to finish. We’ll be more selective about the work we take on and more intentional about delivering the level of service and workmanship our customers expect.

Sometimes change gives you the opportunity to make necessary adjustments, refocus, and build something stronger because of it.

That’s exactly what we’re doing.

Water damage destroyed our customers subfloor…after a little magic, we delivered a brand new kitchen space for them!

ANOTHER happy customer!

Our customer didn’t realize that a sensor on their dishwasher had gone bad. That small issue resulted in water leaking under their flooring, causing damage to their subfloor.

Our Low Country Craftsman crew removed the old vinyl flooring, ripped out the damaged subfloor, inspected and reinforced their floor joist and then put the puzzle back together!
