That final pass with the roller is one of our favorite parts of the job. 🚧

Compaction is what locks everything in and gives the surface its strength. When it's done right, you end up with dense, tight asphalt that holds up under heavy traffic and doesn't break down ahead of schedule.

It's one of the last steps, but it's one of the most important ones.

A lot of the most important work on a paving project happens before anyone sees asphalt. 👷

Subgrade prep is where it all starts. Grading, compacting, and stabilizing the soil below creates the foundation that everything above it depends on. Skip this step or rush it and the finished surface will show it eventually.

Our crew takes it seriously because we know what's underneath is what makes the top layer last.

Clean edges, smooth pavement, and a lot that looks completely different from where it started. Every phase of the job, from site prep to the final roll, led to this moment.
