The Gilded Burrow is officially taking shape! 🖤
We spent yesterday getting our booth set up at La Misión Thrift Beaumont, and let me tell you… it was an adventure. 😂
It did not go exactly the way I pictured it.
There were unexpected obstacles, a giant iron pillar in the middle of the booth, walls that didn’t quite cooperate, a few things that had to be modified on the spot, multiple trips to Walmart for supplies, and plenty of moments where we had to stop and figure out, “Okay… how are we going to make THIS work?”
But somehow, through all of the ups and downs, The Gilded Burrow started to look like The Gilded Burrow.
And I absolutely LOVE it.
This is nowhere near finished. Over the next few weeks we’ll still be adding more artwork, vintage treasures, textiles, small furniture, displays, signage, and all the little details that will make the space feel completely ours.
Is it exactly what I pictured?
No.
Is it still amazing?
Absolutely.
And honestly, I think that’s part of the fun. A vintage booth shouldn’t feel perfectly polished and predictable. It should feel collected, curious, unexpected, and full of things that make you stop and look twice.
We’re building it one treasure, one display, one problem, and apparently one screw at a time. 😂
