This wallpaper adds the perfect mix of color and charm to our playroom bath. A space that’s fun for the kids and still makes the grown-ups smile.

A beautiful home is one that makes gathering easy. 🤍

With generous seating and an open connection to the kitchen, our living room was created for family game nights, weekend lounging, and all of the moments in between that make a house feel like home.

Need a designer’s eye without a full-service project? Our Designer for a Day service gives you four focused hours to make decisions, solve design challenges, and move your space forward.

Don’t be afraid to mix it up. ✨

Different patterns + different textures = one very happy home.

The perfect finishing touch? Always the artwork. ✨

When the office already has an arched window this beautiful, the walls have a lot to live up to.

We took them from blank to anything but with a scenic wallcovering. Boats, water, and landscape now surround the room, giving our clients a pretty great view no matter which direction they’re facing.

Neutral done right.

Thank you for sharing Mimi's design tips on creating a neutral space.

While a neutral palette creates a beautiful foundation, the magic happens in the layering: cozy textures, beautiful textiles, artwork, and details that make a room feel personal.

A little less “blank canvas,” a little more “this feels like home.”

Our team had the best time at brunch and mahjong, catching up with Kristen and getting a preview of her latest collection alongside fellow designers!

Small details can make a big impact.

Thank you, , for featuring one of my favorite bathroom design tricks: using a mirror in front of a window to reflect natural light throughout the space.

A beautiful reminder that you don’t always need a full renovation to make a room feel refreshed.

We’ve welcomed a few new faces around here, so it felt like the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

Hi! 👋🏻I'm Mimi.

I'm the founder and principal designer behind Marian Louise Design, but my favorite title is mom to three wonderful kiddos.

When I'm not designing homes, you'll usually find me hosting friends, taking long walks, dancing around the kitchen with my kids, or convincing my husband to go for a Sunday afternoon drive. (And if I ever get the chance to sleep in... I'm taking it.)

I believe the best homes aren't just beautiful. They're where life unfolds, memories are made, and people always feel welcome.

I'm so glad you're here.
