Fun fact: Window placement can do more than bring in natural light—it can frame the view and help a room feel brighter and more open. In this Franklin, Tennessee home, the windows bring the outdoors into everyday spaces, from the bedroom to the living area. A thoughtful detail that makes a big difference in how a home feels.

Which view would you pick: the peaceful trees or the Tennessee sky?

Nothing makes us prouder than seeing our interns leave AIS feeling inspired, challenged, and ready for what’s next. We loved having Ana as part of the AIS Designs Co. team this summer! From developing new skills to gaining hands-on experience, it’s been a pleasure watching her learn and grow throughout her internship.

Hearing that our very own Angel, Stephanie, and Geneva made an impact along the way makes it even more special. That’s what the AIS Internship Program is all about — mentorship, real-world experience, and investing in the next generation of our industry.

Thank you for spending your summer with us, Ana! We’re excited to see where your next chapter takes you.

Another AIS intern officially clocking out of summer and back into architecture school. 🎓📐 We loved having Leanna Landry on the AIS team this summer and watching her learn, grow, and put those design skills to work! She’s heading back to the University of Houston for her final year, and we know she’s going to crush it. Thanks for spending your summer with us, Leanna!

The party doesn’t plan itself… although we definitely made it look that way. 😎 A special shoutout to our AIS Summer Employee Appreciation Dinner Planning Committee — Stephanie, Austin, Allison, Jay, Katia, Nathan! 🌺 From brainstorming and coordinating to décor, games, prizes, vendors, and all the little details in between, this team put in the extra time and creativity to help bring our Habana-inspired evening to life.

A lot happens behind the scenes to create a night like this, and we’re incredibly thankful for a committee that knows how to plan hard, problem-solve fast, and still have fun doing it.

🌺 A little appreciation goes a long way—and this night was all about celebrating the incredible team that keeps AIS designing, creating, coordinating, and making things happen every day. We stepped away from our desks, put the deadlines on do not disturb, and enjoyed an evening filled with great food, even better company, live music, games, and plenty of Habana flair. 🇨🇺

Thank you to our AIS family for giving us so much to celebrate. The work we do is important, but the people behind it are what make it all possible!

Special thanks to Buena Vista Cuban Cafe - Downtown for hosting our crew, swayrodriguez for capturing all the good angles 📸, and Charlie Perez for providing the soundtrack to a pretty unforgettable night. 🎶

🌴 Habana night, AIS style. Consider this our official proof that the AIS team cleans up very nicely. 😎 Our Summer Employee Appreciation Dinner was all about celebrating the people behind the plans, designs, deadlines, emails, revisions… and everything in between. We traded the floor plans for florals, Cuban-inspired looks, good food, lots of laughs, and a little friendly competition. Because great work deserves an even better celebration.

A huge thank you to our incredible AIS team for everything you bring to the table every single day—and to our planning committee for helping bring our Habana-inspired evening to life. 🌺

Big thank you to Buena Vista Cuban Cafe - Downtown for opening your doors to our company and swayrodriguez for taking amazing photos as always! Charlie Perez for the perfect music!

A special shoutout to Stephanie, who led our Design interns, and Albert, who led our Takeoff interns. Thank you both for mentoring, teaching, and giving our interns a real look into the industry. 👏 To our interns: keep learning, keep asking questions, and keep designing what’s next. We can’t wait to see where you go from here!
