55Seventy is getting closer to its reveal.

With construction expected to wrap up over the next couple of months, we’re sharing a few more glimpses of this Houston private w**e club through renderings and visualizations. From the sculptural artwork upon approach to the softly lit arrival area, there’s plenty to look forward to.

A special thank you to Jonathan Williams of Outdoor Practice, our landscape architecture partner, for sharing these renderings and helping bring the vision to life.

We can’t wait to trade these previews for an in-person view. Stay tuned!

Strong collaboration starts within the team and extends throughout the project.

Within the design team, sharing perspectives, challenging ideas, and drawing on different areas of expertise helps shape a stronger direction.

As the project moves forward, that same collaborative approach extends to consultants, contractors, and other partners who help carry the vision through.

Through consistent communication, design reviews, coordination meetings, and site walks, the team continues working together to solve challenges, refine ideas, and strengthen the final solution.

Strong ideas become stronger when more perspectives are brought to the table.

Design is a collaborative process. From early conversations and space planning to material selections and the details that shape the final experience, each team member brings a different perspective, area of expertise, and way of thinking to the process.

By sharing ideas, challenging assumptions, and building on one another’s strengths, an individual’s ideas become something the entire team helps shape.

Different perspectives. One shared vision.

Sweater weather, translated into a material palette!

Rich burgundy, warm wood tones, and layered textures have us looking forward to cooler days ahead. With a balance of soft textiles, veined stone, and sculptural surfaces, this palette brings depth and a little seasonal mood to the material library at Abel Design Group.

Inspiration for the fall days to come!

A design detail that makes movement part of the experience.

Take a closer look at the custom staircase linking AZA Law’s expanded workplace. Vertical slats, contrasting materials, and integrated lighting transform the transition between levels into a distinct architectural feature within the space.

Thank you to our client, AZA Law, for the opportunity to bring this unique detail to life.

AZA Law’s expansion onto an additional floor of its Houston office provided an opportunity to build upon the firm’s existing workplace while introducing a refreshed design for the new space.

The Level 26 renovation carries that design approach into the expanded space through updated materials, details, and workplace elements. From the new entry and conference room to private offices and a distinctive internal staircase, the design creates continuity between the two floors while giving the expansion a refreshed identity of its own.

Thank you to our client, AZA Law, for the opportunity to help bring this expansion to life.

A little luck, a close eye on the cards, and plenty of friendly competition. Last week, our ADG team gathered for a Lotería lunch, trading our usual midday routine for a chance to test our luck and spend time together.

It was a fun way to spend our lunch break, with bragging rights on the line!

A workplace should have spaces that invite you to stay awhile.

Designed as an executive lounge, this space balances comfort, connection, and functionality through a variety of seating and gathering areas. Layered materials, thoughtful details, and expansive views create a welcoming environment that feels elevated while still giving people a place to step away, connect, or recharge.

At Abel Design Group, we design beyond how a space looks, considering how it feels and how people will experience it every day.
