Bellaire Market District brings new investment to Little Saigon, three miles west of Beltway 8 on Bellaire Boulevard. The design takes its cues from the markets of Vietnam and across Asia, with exposed steel, wood-textured tilt-wall concrete, and custom murals. At its center is the two-level Chợ 3 Miền Food Hall, where vendors bring the cooking of Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam together in one place. The second-floor terrace faces north, so it stays shaded and comfortable through a Houston summer. It's been a privilege to design a place this rooted in the neighborhood around it.

17 years ago, Breann Nash was in HR at a bank. A coworker passed her resume to AMB, and it turned into an entire career, she's a Principal here now. Happy Labor Day to a team that never made her choose between work and a life outside of it.

Our office will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We'll be back Tuesday, ready to go.

A good medical office doesn't just look clean, it has to work. Patient flow, staff efficiency, equipment placement, and code compliance need to line up before the finishes even get picked, and that takes an architect who understands how a practice runs day to day. We've designed everything from a 10,225 square foot surgical facility built around a same-day dental implant process to a radiation vault with an 84 inch thick concrete wall, built inside a facility that stayed open for patients the whole time. Houston's outpatient clinic visits are projected to grow almost 16% by 2029. When a Healthcare Business Review award-winning practice promises full-mouth dental implants in 24 hours, the building has to keep up. We designed Nuvia Dental Implant Center's new location in the Woodlands area to hold everything that promise requires: oral surgery rooms, digital imaging, restorative care spaces, and an in-house lab where the team fabricates custom zirconia teeth, all across three suites totaling 11,950 square feet. Nuvia already has more than 50 locations nationwide, so our job was matching a standard that's working, not reinventing it. Glad the Woodlands area gets this level of care close to home.

Spencer Fane's Houston office had occupied the same floor of the 3040 Post Oak tower for over 20 years. When the firm decided it was time for a facelift, and a new view, they moved one floor up and brought AMB Architects in to lead space assessment, programming, planning, and interior architecture.

The result balances traditional law firm gravitas with a modern edge: a woven wood feature wall behind reception, large-format grey marble through the lobby and corridors, and glass-front conference rooms that switch to opaque with the press of a button. Zoom capability runs through both boardrooms, five conference rooms, and the war room. Serving over 60 team members, the breakroom pairs a blue marble-look quartz island with a tile backsplash that nods to the firm's corporate colors.

Spencer Fane invested in what mattered most to their team: head count, storage, and staff amenities, proof that the right design solves for how people actually work, not just how a space looks.
