Interesting little project im working on at home. I did not add any color or dyes. This species here is what you call Flaming Box Elder. The beautiful colors you see are a result of a natural response to injury and infection. As far as I know it is from a Beetle and/or fungus combination. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a nice live edge slab to work with, along with a ton of other interesting slabs too. With this specific slab the next step ill do when I have time is flood it in a UV Inhibiting clear coat. This project is for myself and I will be doing a bunch of other exotic slabs following this one too. Thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy what you saw so far. A kitchen make over for a recent client. Will be a rental unit. House is 197 years old! It was remarkably level considering the age of the place. Of course it wasnt perfect though, after all it is a 197 year old house! Added a closet that could also be used as a pantry, fixed the walls. Primed and painted them to match the rest of the existing room to property owners request. Installed new cabinets and ceiling trim. I did NOT install the counter tops but I sure was impressed by the company that came in and installed them! Talk about on point and fast. I was very impressed. The property owner hired them and I need to get their contact information ASAP. Thanks for looking

Absolutely incredible before and after results on this Londonderry job for a superb client. The home owners completely emptied the room which made the job much easier to execute, thats for sure. I was hired to:

- paint the ceiling but not to do any repairs

-extensive touch ups and drywall patches and repairs on the walls. Primed. Then I painted the walls with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Symmetry - Agreeable Gray

-paint the trim (2 coats)

Because they were being such a phenomenal client I decided to finish off the trim install on the door and get two coats of paint on that for free. I like to throw in some freebies when the client is just exceptional to work for, and they absolutely were! (They invited me upstairs to join them for a pancake breakfast! But I had already just ate...was still very thoughtful and kind of them)

What....a....TRANSFORMATION...and it only took TWO DAYS!!!
