🌂 How many ribs does your patio umbrella have?🌂
Think you can count them? 👀

It sounds simple, but counting the umbrella ribs is one of the most common mistakes people make when ordering a replacement umbrella canopy.

Before you order your replacement patio umbrella canopy, make sure you know:
✔️ Your umbrella shape
✔️ The number of ribs
✔️ Your rib length
✔️ The correct canopy size
Even if your umbrella looks like the one in the listing, the number of ribs and rib length matter for getting the right replacement canopy fit.
So… how many ribs did you count? 👇

Save this guide for the next time you need a replacement umbrella canopy!

🚨 UMBRELLA ACADEMY: Part 2B 🚨

It’s Friday, so let’s clear up one BIG umbrella mistake before you clock out. 😂

Your umbrella needs to be CIRCULAR — not square, not rectangular. 🔵

And here’s where people get tricked: they count the ribs, see the right number, and think they’re good to go… but if your rib lengths aren’t even, your umbrella isn’t the shape our replacement canopies are made for.

⚠️ DO NOT order a Formosa Covers replacement canopy if your umbrella is square or rectangular.

Count your ribs ✔️
Check your shape ✔️
Make sure the rib lengths are even ✔️
Then order. 😉

Save this before you buy!

☂️ UMBRELLA ACADEMY: PART 2 — KNOW YOUR SHAPE!

Before you order a replacement umbrella canopy, check the shape of your frame. 👀

Most Formosa Covers replacement umbrella canopies are made for 6-sided (hexagon) or 8-sided (octagon) frames — but they are NOT interchangeable.

📏 Count the sides of your umbrella frame before ordering to make sure you get the right fit!

Save this for later and send it to anyone shopping for a replacement patio umbrella canopy. 🌿
