🕷️ Anthurium (Dark and Handsome x Black Widow) 🕷️

Always love watching a seedling gamble pay off! Picked this one up as a juvenile on the Palmstreet a while back, and every new leaf just levels up. The dark emergent hue, velvety texture, and distinctive spider-like vein pattern make this plant quite the promising breeder!

As you can tell from the flowers 🌺 there are crosses featuring her coming soon. Be sure to stay tuned!

🌿 Antolakii (Round x RA1) F2 BB1 🌿

One of the standout seedlings from the cross between Dark Star and BVEP (Round x RA1) #2 from Ghostdad.
This plant inherited some of the best of both worlds—inky, ultra-velvety foliage paired with the signature star-shaped sinus from Dark Star. The contrast on that new emergent is something else.

Our first cross with her as a parent is finally ready to debut! We’ll be dropping them during our Palmstreet live tomorrow. Be sure to bookmark the show, you won't want to miss these!

"Nebula"

Originally dubbed Pink Nebula for her stunning pink splash against those velvety dark leaves, this plant decided to completely rewrite the script. Lately, every new leaf has been coming in hot with vibrant orange variegation instead!

She outgrew the pink title, so she’s simply Nebula now. She keeps us guessing, and honestly? We’re just along for the ride.

It’s pretty rare for us to use three separate breeding specimens from a single cross, but with this batch, we just couldn’t resist.

Meet Black Widow x Carla ‘BB3’—our newest seed parent! 🖤✨

She has a persistent blister mutation affecting every leaf in varying intensities. Paired with that deep coloration and elite venation, she’s turned into an absolute showstopper.

What do you think of the blister mutation on this one? Do you prefer a more intense blister that dramatically alters leaf shape? Or do you like the more subtle charm of this one? Let us know in the comments below!👇

One of my current favorites among my variegated Anthuriums, this plant has color that is simply unreal. Her leaves go through phases, and when they harden, they are often nearly black.

This stage is definitely my favorite, when color expression is at its strongest. She is starting to flower now, and we can’t wait to see what kind of crosses we can produce with her!

One of our oldest breeders, and we’ve finally captured a high-quality photo of her! 🌿

This shot was taken outside in natural light, and we were incredibly surprised to see just how many distinct shades of variegation she’s hiding. Under the pinkish-white grow lights inside the tent, her coloring looks much more monotone. Seeing her out here definitely explains a lot of the fascinating colors and green variegation we've been seeing in her offspring!
