🪏 planting today went well! We had to deal with Nats and temps in the 90s but we survived!

🪴 Several hundred went in the ground today I forgot to get an exact total. I’ll follow up in my next post.

💦 everything planted got watered in. (sadly Charleston did not get any of that rain yesterday)

🤷‍♀️Nothing blooming right now?

🌻Let’s add some late season bloomers for those pollinators still scrounging around for food!

🌸Consider filling in other bloom gaps by planting spring and summer blooming plants in the fall. That way you’re ahead of the game come spring!

🌳 Great time to plant trees and shrubs as well!!

-The space was treated twice with herbicide
-Underlayment used here is heavy duty contractor paper.
(Newspaper & cardboard can also be used)
-Mulch approximately 3”.

😆Anyone else ask for proof of life photos to their young adult children??

🤞We try to set them up for success and hope that when they’re out in the real world, they can handle it.

🪴that’s what I do with plants and people. I try to set people up for success by matching What the person can and is willing to maintain and what would best fit the space they have whether it’s indoors or out.
