RENDERING → REALITY

From the plan ➡️ to the real thing.

This is one of our favorite parts of the process.

Kristen was able to see the new layout, furniture placement and overall direction of the room before we started bringing everything in.

And then we got to watch it come to life.

The arched cabinets stayed — almost everything else changed. New furniture, a much better layout, new artwork and accessories, and layers of texture made the room finally feel complete.

THE DESIGN PLAN: Mood board + renderings

Before we started ordering, we needed to make sure the whole room worked together.

We started with the layout, then sourced the furniture, rug, tables, artwork and accessories to give Kristen a complete plan instead of asking her to make a hundred separate decisions.

We kept the arched cabinets she already owned and built the new design around them — mixing warm wood tones, black accents, soft neutrals and lots of texture.

And this is exactly why we love showing a room before everything starts arriving. You get to see how the pieces work together before committing to them.

This room wasn’t working!

This living room had all the pieces of a great space — but it just wasn’t working for this family.

The furniture was worn and uncomfortable, the layout didn’t encourage anyone to stay, and the room never really felt finished. Instead of gathering here to watch TV, everyone tended to head to the basement or their own rooms.

Kristen knew she wanted to change it, but after making decision after decision throughout their home, she was stuck.

With her son’s graduation party coming up, we finally had a deadline — and a plan. 🤍

Our goal: create a comfortable, finished living room that actually made the family want to spend time together.

Wait… this is the SAME bathroom?!

From dated wood paneling to a bright, fresh space with so much more personality!

We love how this basement bathroom turned out, especially the black shower details and added storage. Sometimes the smallest rooms have the biggest transformations! 🤍
